With a full Tummy Tuck there is a surgical incision to remove unwanted skin and so with any cutting there is a scar. However the surgical incision is performed in such a way that the scaring is reduced. After time the scar lightens and fades and in many cases is completely undetectable.

How much does it cost ?

The fee for this procedure varies depending on the amount of skin removal. However it can cost between $4500 and $8000.

Is it painful?
Answer:
The surgery is most often performed in a hospital under general anaethetic and so pain is kept at a minimum. However is some cases it can be performed under light sedation in the clinic and pain is managed by oral pain medication. The pain level is related to the muscles and not the skin and pain is only really felt during sudden movements.

Where is the scar situtated?
Answer:
In most cases it will be beneath your panty line so that no one will ever notice ant marks that remain. However the scar most often fades in most cases and is not detectable in anycase.
